Day 3 - Happy things
It seemed like everyone was eating grapes over the weekend, so I picked up a few of them for myself today. The red bra peeking out isn't an accident, either, BONNIE. Red lacy bras are definitely a happy thing. As are the first few handfuls of sweet green seedless grapes.
Incidentally, after all the outtakes and out-of-focus shots, I'm *not* hungry for grapes anymore.

7 Days, Day 3 - I got my vitamin D
It's after 5pm, so I felt safe to sit on the deck and spin some yarn for a few minutes without getting a burn. If the whole summer stays like this (blue and green and under 85°), I'll be OK with it. I do prefer colder weather, but Darren is adamant about not moving any farther north.

7 Days, Day 3.
It snew. I started my day by walking a quarter of a mile through a FRAKE ATTACK to the bus stop, riding the bus, disembarking at the wrong stop on the wrong street, walking to the correct address on another wrong street, and then pretty much giving up. I took another bus to Darren's work and took the car for the rest of my errands.

Day 3: At work
I work in a video store...again. Actually, I love this job fiercely. My last job was full of restrictions, rules, standards, and whatnot; with this job, I'm golden as long as I know the alphabet and don't set fire to anything.

7Days.3 - Cy got to go outside today!
I took him out, wiped him down, shined him up, and performed ALL KINDS of prepositional phrases on him. Then I hit the road and after 10 minutes started sweating, carrying a goodly amount of sunblock into my eyes and making me turn around and come home. Oh, well. It's a start.

7 Days - Day 3 : The Game
Now that Packet has an apartment to herself again, she's a lot more playful. This here is one of her favorite toys, and it makes the coolest 'skshhhh' noise on the floor when thrown from the living room into the kitchen. Sometimes, I don't throw it right, and I have to go get it and try again. Packet says, 'If you wanted a dog, you should have gotten a dog. Throw the toy right this time.'

7 Days, Day 3 - Yogurt!
This morning, Darren told me that we haven't been drinking enough milk. To wit, we have 4L of it in the fridge, all with an expiration date of July 12. We are merely two casual milk-drinking humans, so I used this as an excuse to make another batch of crock-pot yogurt. This is phase 3: active cultures have been whisked in, and now we bundle up the crock in a faux-sheepskin blanket under a giant bath towel for 8 hours while they do their thing. Last batch turned out quite yummy, and I'm hoping this batch will, too.

7 Days, Day3. Sea Monkeys.
My sea monkeys are a week and a half old. They live in a mini-aquarium that has a glow-in-the-dark pirate ship. I wanted a picture with the pirate ship glowing alone, but then you couldn't see me, so I used my keychain flashlight. I like my sea monkeys. They're not really exciting, but they're really fascinating to me.
