7 Days, Day 5 - Make up my mind
What do I want to do with my life? I've narrowed down my options to two: medical transcription or massage therapy. Medical transcription would fulfill my need to constantly proofread and edit everything. Massage therapy would fulfill my desire to ...well, to become a massage therapist. Do I flip a coin, or what?

Day 5, New project
Here I am, rolling around in the yarn (again). Under my hair, I've got my yarn, my needles, and my pattern books. I also have a big smile on my face because it's time to make a sweater!

7Days.5 - Cold
I had a few 'cold' pictures today, but this one turned out the most in-focus. At least, I hope it's in-focus. I forgot to take my allergy medicine and had a surprise itchy-eyes attack after dinner.

7 days, day 5 - out of focus
Today I went to the doctor and found out that I have an ovarian cyst that's 11cm x 8cm. 11cm is just over 4 inches. So this cyst is hanging onto my ovary (my doctor has a French accent, she calls it a 'hovary') and squishing other things around. The only way to find out if it's a bad cyst or a benign cyst is surgery with a 3-day hospital stay. Since it's rather large, she's removing that whole ovary. One's enough anyhow, and since I don't plan on using it for pregnancy purposes, she's also agreed to tie the tube on the other side. Silver lining, I guess.
This picture sums up how I feel today, camera strap and blurriness included. I know the theme for Day 5 is dinner. Darren is cooking dinner as I upload this photo. That's about as close as I can get.

7 Days, Day 5 - Hand
Not feeling creative about the theme today. Packet's not feeling it, either, apparently! I threw an old towel over her new window perch to cover the grippy tape, and that seems to have effectively turned it into the Loaf Shelf I intended. Score one for me!
