Mister Clingy
Things that make me wonder if the Earth's delicate balance has been upset: Mister wasn't just being sociable today, he was actually a smidge needy. When I came out of the house to leave, I found that he'd jumped into the car through the open window and made himself comfy in the backseat. When I told him to leave, this is where he went. When I picked him up to get him out of the way, he put his paws on my shoulder and started purring. It only lasted for a few minutes, but it made me feel good.

Because this is a cat that doesn't give a shit. A nap had to be taken RIGHT THEN, and she was the one for the job, even if it meant she had to anchor herself with claws to stay on top of the pile of blankets and pillows.

True Blood starts 6/25. I'm so glad the books are so different from the series. It's like getting twice the story.

Could be playful, could be murderous.
Packet loves this chair. I do, too. I bought it over 10 years ago, and she's been sharpening her claws on it and climbing it for 8.5 of those years. It should be marketed as 98% cat-proof (there are a couple of threads sticking out). Anyway, one of Packet's favorite games is 'MAKE THE CHAIR MORE FUN!', which involves me putting my fingers anywhere near the back of the chair so she can slice them into ribbons.

Meet Ludo.
Ludo is Sookie's boy. She had ONE kitten, and boy, what a kitten she had. Being an only child, he gets ALL the attention. Also, he's learned his name already, because he adores being fed People Food.

He guards this water dish almost all day, so that when he wanders away to take a whizz or eat some food, all the other animals come over and drink their fill. Then Mister comes back to find dog-slobber and demands clean, fresh water that's worth guarding again. Also, Sophie thought I was taking a picture of her.
