New hairs.
I wanted a pedicure, ended up with a haircut instead. For what it's worth, 25 years is the amount of time it takes for me to completely forget that I don't want layers in my hair. I was missing my curls, though. Now I have them back. I think when this grows out an inch, it'll be perfect.

Halfway-decent hair day
This is what it's come to: it's a big deal when I take the time to blow-dry my hair with the diffuser. It happens so infrequently that I'd actually started to think my hair was losing its curl. No, the curls are still there.
