Lots of smoke at the demolition derby

Really blurry picture of it, but the gas tank started leaking and caught fire. Nobody was injured, and that minivan had already stopped moving, so the driver only had to jump out really fast.

The HYDRO meter. I don't know if it's Canada-wide, but people around here like to call their electricity 'hydro'. Drives me nuts. They get a water bill and a hydro bill, and they don't think that sounds strange. I know it's short for hydroelectricity, but couldn't they shorten it to 'electricity', or even better, 'power'?

Jenn made big news in Newington with her house fire
No one was in the house at the time, and all the animals are safe. It was a 4-alarm fire, though: Newington, Long Sault (that's the funny-shaped truck in the center), Ingleside, and Finch.

They had 4 or 5 trucks running back and forth all day long to keep this thing filled.
