Epic blanket is epic. Also finished.
I started this blanket as 'mindless knitting' the week of my surgery (first week of April), finished it last night. It's big enough to wrap up in completely or put on a bed, which might not be fully appreciated for a couple of months...but it's better to have it done now.

FO: Hallowig
Modeled by its recipient, the lovely Tess. I made it a bit long in the bangs, which resulted in a pointy front. Mayhaps I'll make another with less pointy. Still, she's cute as all get-out.

7 Days, Day 7: FOs Spiral Shawl and 7 Days
In knitterly circles, FO = Finished Object. I finished a shawl and another installment of 7 days, so this photo does double duty (I think I already did that for my Day 2, too).

Bye for now, everyone! See you next time!

Worst project photo ever.
This is a hat! I had to take this picture quickly because I was on my way out the door to give the hat to its recipient. It's Coronet, worked in Bernat Satin.

Round dishcloth no. 5
The first 4 were done during Ravelympics, but I kept going to see how many I could get out of one giant skein of cotton yarn. Answer: 6.5.

Ravelympics - done.
I finished casting these off and seaming them right after the US Men's Basketball team won gold. My part is finished; my sister will get to felt her own slippers. :)

I can't believe I finished these in less than two days.

Spinal Tap DVD included for scale.

You can move your feet now.
Seriously, you don't need ME to show off your socks. This is getting old, Mommy. I have butt-licking to do, and I don't need all of Ravelry to see that.

Stop putting your feet near my face
Just because I wake you up by sticking my feet on your face doesn't mean I like it.

Ravelympics dishcloth no. 1
I've already started the second. Made with size 4 needles using a giant skein of Bernat Cotton. I actually finished this yesterday, but didn't get around to uploading until today.

Ravelympics WIP no. 1 down
All I had to do was weave in the ends and take FO pictures. Only one FO picture turned out well thanks to my thick ankles and Mister's tendency to sit between me and the camera during timer shots.

I used Wendy Johnson's toe-up gusset heels, which fit fabulously. The only problem is that I intended these socks to be for my mom (her feet are two sizes smaller than mine), but they fit me. On the one hand, I'm thrilled to have another pair of socks for myself, but on the other, Ma doesn't have as many pairs of handknit socks as I do. Plus, these are perfect in just about every way. The stripes MATCH. That was completely unintended, and I didn't notice until they were finished.

My round lacy dishcloth
The 7th dishcloth to come out of the same giant ball of yarn. This one has lace around the edges. WOO!
