Snooker loves his grain
Katie put his grain down and he started holding his right front hoof in the air. I thought something was wrong, but she told me he just gets all excited about his grain and that's how he expresses his happiness. Ignore his mud spots. He got dirty today.

Snooker is in his late 20s, I think. This year, he got this cool stringy thing instead of a fly mask, and it works a heck of a lot better. I brushed him today, and he was a happy guy.

Not the greatest photo, but this is frozen horse slobber on my coat, and that's Patience's schnozz. Every time I wandered away from her to pet or talk to someone else, she'd grab my arm and try to drag me away. She's no weakling, either.
