365.071 - Dad's socks, take 3
Switched to the largest size (82 stitches) and a 3x3 rib. Despite each sock being 82 stitches, the socks are progressing more quickly than I expected.

365.063 - Before the frog
These are the socks I'm making for Dad, in their first incarnation. Today I decided, after getting to the heels, that they're too skinny and too short, so I ripped them out completely and started over anew. Part of me hates losing all that work; part of me doesn't mind a bit because I'm a process knitter.

Packet is so sweet, isn't she? So I finished Ma's socks, and I hope they're the right size this time. The slip-stitch heel is tricky to guesstimate - for me, at least.

365.018 - A farewell to feet
I love this yarn (Koigu, a gift from the lovely Wen), and I love my new Knit Picks Harmony sock needles, but these socks don't want to be plain stockinette. The next time you see this sock yarn, it'll be sporting some nice lace, I think. Or maybe it'll be mittens. No, it's so soft and sproingy. Socks.
