Lots of smoke at the demolition derby
Firemen had everyone stop while they made sure the fire was out.

Really blurry picture of it, but the gas tank started leaking and caught fire. Nobody was injured, and that minivan had already stopped moving, so the driver only had to jump out really fast.

3rd heat at the demolition derby
These cars signed up especially to be allowed to do front and rear end hits. They were totally there for the crowd. Keep an eye on that 420 car, because (haha) when his car wouldn't go anymore, he started smoking. On purpose. Spun his wheels until they asploded.

The first heat was exciting, probably because I hadn't been sure what to expect until the derby started.

4-cylinder, front-wheel drive. I wasn't sure this would be very fun, but apparently I like to watch cars smash into each other until they stall or fall apart.

Cat paws in the barn
Jenn's builder says there are two cats living in her barn: an orange one and a calico. Don't know who the calico is, but could the orange one be Little Man? I went up to investigate today. I saw paw prints, but no cats. I'll keep going back to make sure the kitties are at least fed and warm.
