7 Days - Day 7 - back to studying
When you take an online course, IT'S ALL HOMEWORK. Let's just get that straight. The last time I was in school, I rarely did my homework because in most cases, I could pass my tests just by paying attention in class. Now that I don't have a physical class to attend, I have to go through and write down everything to make sure it doesn't slide out of my brain while I'm sleeping. Medical Terminology is my favorite type of class: all vocabulary. Writing out definitions and word parts makes me kind of happy, even though my hand hurts and I can't write properly on the pages where the spiral rings press into my hand. Good thing I probably won't have to reread these notes. It should be enough to remember that I wrote them.

7 Days - Day 2. Writing, or SOUTHPAWS FTW
Today, I'm baking my very first loaf of bread. I'm surprised I haven't done this before, but there you go. It occurs to me that my handwriting is inconsistent and completely different from my high school days, when I was writing with a pen everyday. Nowadays, I type everything. Once or twice, I've been at a grocery store, ready to sign for my purchase, and not known if I'm a lefty or a righty.

Technically, I'm a lefty, but a very well-adjusted one. I do prefer to write left-handed, but I can throw darts with either hand (interesting fact: my accuracy improves when I'm drunk) and things like can-openers, bowling balls, catcher's mitts, and twist-ties don't bother me.
