365.009 - Phoning it in
Cropped, super-zoomed shot of what I see when I wake up in the morning. I sleep in the basement, so I get a worm's-eye view of the pool and the tree branches. Sadly, this was the only photo I took yesterday, so it has to be my 365. Hopefully, that'll teach me a lesson and I'll get more creative.

7 Days - Day 2. Winter Solstice.
Well, I got the winter part, anyway. I can totally explain the look on my face. In the absence of a tripod, I sat the camera on the roof of my car, and I swear I thought it was starting to slide off. I actually squeezed the remote because I was ready to run and catch it.

The snow mountain has started.
In the back, you can see the Christmas lights in the traffic circle. In a couple of months, this baby mountain will block out the sun.

Those of you in the northeast, as well as Sweden, might not be impressed. I have family in Ohio that haven't seen the giant plows, though.
